Bele Chere Festival ~ Asheville 2010

Blue Ridge Mountains

I recently took a trip to Asheville NC for the Bele Chere festival they hold there every year. Bele Chere is wild and I had a blast hanging out with my friends there and I'm sure I will return next year for a repeat experience. The drive was a little long and on the way back I had to drive through two storms but the overall experience was great.

Asheville is totally different than I imagined. Asheville is a mix of eclectic, rich, down to earth, nature lovers. I loved every bit of it. Asheville is so welcoming with a mix of beautiful views, mountains, historic places, and like I said before crazy crazy people...lol.

We went to several different places while I was there in Asheville. The first picture is one of us on top of the Blue Ridge mountains. The Blue Ridge mountains are awesome and the view from up there is breath taking. The second third picture is from the Fitzgerald resort and spa there in Asheville. The Fitzgerald was build by they same gentlemen that build Biltmore castle. The Fitzgerald is so beautiful and scenic. An ideal place for weddings and honeymoons. The Fitzgerald is also out of this world expensive. Rooms range from $250 - $600 a night. President Barack Obama recently visited the Fitzgerald with his family on vacation. Lastly, the final picture was taken at Bele Chere.
