Its almost weird to think about my little cousin, Kadeem Myrick, and my little brother as members of my fraternity. I am really starting to show my age!!!!! (By the way I just celebrated my 29th birthday....look for more about that in the next post).
Every time I think about it, all I can do is reflect back on when we were growing up and how I tried my best to make them tough. Make them as tough as my cousins had made me growing up. I guess I knew deep down inside that life wasn't going to be easy and to make it in this world you have to be tough and have tough skin to get through.
It was also weird to see how much me and my brother are alike. I know thats kind of funny to say since we grew up together and we are brothers, but we are a lot like. We step alike, talk and act like, and show emotions in a similar fashion. The bruhs jokingly said that Tamon is as "Dry" as I was when I was trying to become an alpha. I guess you can say we were cut from the same cloth!
Once again congratulation Tamon on your accomplishment!
