South Beach Miami ~ 2010 Edition

I recently went to Miami on a mini vacation. Miami has changed so much since I was last there in 2007. Boy what a trip! I met so many interesting people. Me and one of my close friends tried to pack as much stuff as possible into the trip. We ate Cuban food, went to several clubs, hung-out with some of my old friends, tanned(lol) on the beach, went to a nude beach, and just enjoyed our time in Miami. Miami was awesome and a welcomed changed to my boring day to day life.

As I stated before, MIA has changed a lot since my last visit three years ago. Miami, to me, has become the equivalent to a sand Cuban island...lol. The reason I say this is because of the huge influx of Latinos in Miami. Latinos run Miami!!! They were everywhere! They run all the shops, the clubs, and all food spots (I have a new appreciation for Cuban food now).

When I was there in '07 it was totally different or at least there wasn't as many Latinos running around. Don't get me wrong, I love Latino culture. The food is great, the women are beautiful and they love to party. What more can you ask for?

Unlike '07, most of the people I ran into in were foreigner. I ran into several individuals from London visiting the US on vacation, and it seemed that everywhere we went something was speaking a foreign language. It was kind of weird to be in the US and not be able to communicate with someone on the street. It almost seemed as if we had traveled out of the country to some small island of the coast of South America.

The club scene in Miami is crazy and the women are aggressive! Women were eye balling, grabbing, and everything else. It was a welcoming feeling not to have to pursue a beautiful young lady but have them pursue you. I might be wrong for that but it was a welcome change. At one of the local ABC stores I met this beautiful young lady promoting a party for one of the clubs. The young lady asked for my number and invited me and my friend to the club. Within minutes she texted me the location and time to arrive. I found this kinda strange and didn't know if she was trying to scam us or something or had some type of alternative motive. We ended up exchanging several text messages and me and my friend ended up going to the club.
This was just the beginning of our adventure in Miami.
